As designers in the creative field, we are many times tasked with one of the most important jobs, and that is coming up with new and innovative solutions that will answer to key unmet user needs. This is never an easy job! In this workshop I will walk you through the ideation and prioritisation methods, which can guide you in this process by challenging assumptions, thinking out of the box as well as applying learnings from the behavioural science realm.
Topics covered:
- Defining user needs, behaviours and attitudes
- New ideation techniques
- Prioritisation framework and methodology
What kind of exercises will be done:
- Drafting a behavioural statement
- Pressure mapping
- Ideation of interventions
- Idea refinement
- Idea evaluation
What you will take away after this workshop:
Following the mixed methods of ideation and prioritisation, this workshop is an exercise of contamination of perspectives, user and business needs, and transverse across different layers of value and feasibility; where the goal is to find the sweet spot in a complex system that can enable future innovation.
You will practice a unique methodology that allows exploring of future trends, shaping of possible scenarios and identification of opportunities, rapid ideating and prioritising with a final consolidation of concepts.
Requirements for attending:
An open mind, user-cantered approach and no judgement of ideas :)
